AI in Denver

by SonDog

Somehow, this is all Isiah Thomas's fault and it makes me hate him even more.

I still don't understand exactly how Iverson is supposed to fit into this group when Melo and JR Smith come back. The move effectively puts Denver $1 billion trillion kajilion over the salary cap.

Breaking News, "The Nuggets are worth watching for the first time...EVER!!!"

So will both Melo and AI fall from the #1 & #2 respective point leaders to say #8 & #22, or will one fall and the other stay on top?

Personally, I don't think Melo "the backpedaler" has what it takes to stand up to Allen "the I'll kill you if don't agree with me. No really, you'll die" Iverson. That's just me though.

I've heard that they are pretty good friends, and that AI has been a pretty bad influence on Carmelo. The story is that they were a couple of douchebags throughout the '04 Olympics, and it's taken a while for 'Melo to break some habits he learned from AI.

That's some serious knowledge there, BH. I hadn't heard that. In hearing it, it scares the hell out of me.

Bh has always been the king of useless tidbits of knowledge. I challenge anybody to beat him at Trivial Pursuit.
